Celso Machado: Folguedo

Celso Machado orignally wrote this piece for eight guitars. After hearing our performance of his Danças populares brasileiras on our CD Da Fuga a Milonga, Celso decided to make an arrangement of Folguedo for the Zagreb Guitar Quartet. Here you can hear it in a live performance. It consists of two movements: Adagio and Folguedo.

Osor Concert Review in Vjesnik

Along with their innate passion, the performance of the Zagreb Guitar Quartet shows superior conscientiousness in the concert preparation and a high level of performing together, evident in their brilliant technique and a sense for leading phrases on the guitar, an artistic string instrument enjoying agelong popularity in Croatia.

Dani gitare 2009.: Robert Belinić i Zagrebački gitaristički kvartet
