Zagreb Guitar Days 2009: May 13-16

It’s the 20th anniversary of the Zagreb Guitar Days! We are pleased to announce the opening concert of the festival which will feature Robert Belinić, Zagreb Guitar Quartet and GuEllyBa Guitar Orchestra.

Handel, Rameau, Bach in Split

<a href="http://zagrebguitarquartet.bandcamp.com/track/fugue-bwv-541">Fugue BWV 541 by Zagreb Guitar Quartet</a>

We are excited to announce our concert in Split on 29 March at 8 pm in the Cathedral of St Duje. Our program will feature Suite no. 5 by Georg Frederic Handel, Gavotte et 6 doubles by Jean-Phillipe Rameau and several works by Johann Sebastian Bach: contrapuncti 1 & 4 from The Art of the Fugue, “Little” Fugue in g minor BWV 578, Prelude and Fugue BWV 531 (C major) and BWV 541 (G major). The entrance is free.

The concert is a part of the Days of Christian Culture in Split which takes place from 28 March to 7 April in Split, Dubrovnik and Šibenik.
