Handel, Rameau, Bach in Split

<a href="http://zagrebguitarquartet.bandcamp.com/track/fugue-bwv-541">Fugue BWV 541 by Zagreb Guitar Quartet</a>

We are excited to announce our concert in Split on 29 March at 8 pm in the Cathedral of St Duje. Our program will feature Suite no. 5 by Georg Frederic Handel, Gavotte et 6 doubles by Jean-Phillipe Rameau and several works by Johann Sebastian Bach: contrapuncti 1 & 4 from The Art of the Fugue, “Little” Fugue in g minor BWV 578, Prelude and Fugue BWV 531 (C major) and BWV 541 (G major). The entrance is free.

The concert is a part of the Days of Christian Culture in Split which takes place from 28 March to 7 April in Split, Dubrovnik and Šibenik.

Announcing the Dubai concert

Zagreb Guitar Quartet will perform a concert in Dubai on February 2, 2009 at the American University of Sharjah. The Quartet will perform works by George Frideric Handel, Jean-Philippe Rameau, Joaquín Turina, Mohamed el-Qasabgi, Celso Machado and Ivo Josipović. More information forthcoming.
